Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MemPro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

MemPro is a spaced repetition learning platform for programmers. It provides study topics, flashcards, runnable code exercises, and progress tracking. Some content and features require a paid subscription ("Pro").

3. Accounts

You sign in to MemPro with a Google account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate anyone else. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends; you may cancel at any time before then.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access to Pro content continues until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Code Execution

The Service lets you run code in a sandboxed environment as part of exercises. You must not attempt to break out of the sandbox, interfere with the Service or other users, mine cryptocurrency, or use the execution environment for any purpose other than working on exercises. We may rate-limit, restrict, or block execution at our discretion.

6. Content

Study content provided by MemPro remains the property of MemPro. You may use it for personal learning; you may not scrape, redistribute, or resell it.

Content you create in the Service (such as your own topics and cards) remains yours. You grant us the license needed to store and display it in order to operate the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data, or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your preferences page. Deleting your account permanently removes your learning progress and content you created, and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
